We had originally planned to do this activity at the Forsythia Festival, but we weren’t able to actually do it until the fun fair. Since many of our members are also students at Winchester P.S. this made a lot of sense.
Siddharth, Pranaya and Scouter Keith build a monkey bridge in the courtyard of Winchester, between the two buildings. Samson also helped, but he arrived just as we were finishing.
The bridge was a success and after testing it ourselves to be sure it was safe we let kids at the fair try it out all day. There was always a line up and we were very popular.
Also very popular was the cookie decorating station run by the Cub and Beaver leaders and parents. Thanks to everyone who helped out and made it such a great day.
